The short story tells the story of the first book in the view of Hana. Hana is the best friend of Lena, who is the main character of Delirium.
This short story has only about 60 pages, so there is not much to say about it. Surprisingly, I found it better than Delirium itself. I guess that’s because the style is not that detailed as in Delirium. Furthermore, I think Hana’s story is a bit more interesting because she is not as well-behaved as Lena is. The story itself is the same as in Delirium just with another narrator. But this does not mean that there are no surprises, especially the ending can be a shock for some readers! Some scenes are the same as in Delirium and now Hana’s thoughts are added, but some scenes have never been mentioned in Delirium because Lena didn’t know about this parts of Hana’s life.
To put it in a nutshell, I think it’s a great short story, even better than the book itself. But I have to add that I find 2,38 Euros for 63 pages a bit too much. Other authors are offering such short stories for free! Oh, by the way, it is only available as ebook in english language.
